Giving business courtesies

Never use gifts, meals, entertainment, or other business courtesies to bribe or gain improper advantage. Giving or offering cash or cash equivalents is never allowed. Interactions with healthcare providers must serve a proper business purpose, respect the provider’s independence, and follow all laws and policies (including HCP Interactions and Anti‑Corruption/Anti‑Bribery policies). Always respect the recipient’s employer policy.

Extra care is required with government employees or public officials. Follow the Anti‑Corruption/Anti‑Bribery policy.
